Replace a cracked or scratched front glass panel or malfunctioning LCD display on your iPad mini 4. A new screen and digitiser assembly will renew the appearance of your front panel, restore touch function, and eliminate the dead pixels or flickering on an aging display.

NOTE

Only the iPad's original home button assembly will be capable of using the Touch ID functionality. Installing a new home button will only restore ordinary home button functions, not the Touch ID features.

The home button is not included.

You will need to swap the magnetic sensor flex cable assembly from your original front panel. (The exposed solder connection is highlighted in the detail photos.) This procedure requires micro soldering and board level repair skills. If you don’t know what this means, you may not have the knowledge or tools to install this part.
