Replace a cracked or scratched front glass panel or malfunctioning LCD display compatible with an iPad mini 5. A new screen and digitizer will renew the appearance of your front panel and edge bezel, restore your touch functions, and eliminate the dead pixels or flickering of your aging display.

NOTE

Only the iPad's original home button assembly will be capable of using the Touch ID functionality. Installing a new home button will only restore ordinary home button functions, not the Touch ID features.

You will need to swap the magnetic sleep/wake sensor flex cable assembly from your original front panel. (The exposed solder connection is highlighted in the detail photos.) This procedure requires micro soldering and board level repair skills. If you don’t know what this means, you may not have the knowledge or tools to install this part.
